More than 10 years in the making, Justin Jay brings a unique sound experience to the underground music scene.

A native of Los Angeles, California, Justin was weaned on the intense energy of the SoCal rave scene. Inspired by the power of DJs to both emotionally and physically move large crowds, Justin discovered his creative expression through turntables. He forged ahead following the creative works of artists like Daft Punk, Dave Angel, The Advent, Plastikman, Underworld, Terry Lee Brown and Soulwax.

A foundational blend of classic 80s synth-pop, house music and Indie rock make up the dynamic base for the energetic sound Justin infuses into the crowd. Described as a roller coaster effect, Justin carefully selects tracks with the crowd’s reaction in mind, assuring that there is never a dull moment.

Justin has produced and recorded two mixed series, Cuts and Mixes and Rock the Diskotek. Cuts and Mixes is a blend of Indie-style remixes inspired by pioneers like LCD Soundsystem and The Presets. Rock the Diskotek is a strong, acidy display of hard core fused electro beats. Justin has also created several original tracks and innovative remixes, all of which give a new flavor to original tracks from bands like New Order, The Cure and The Rapture.
